Multi-material models and prototypes, additive manufacturing

The end goal of the model-maker’s work is to provide the end client with a prototype that is consistent with the bottle originally designed by the designer. When working on a glasswork object, studies are carried out to try to produce this prototype in glass. Currently, the prototyping process involves the use of stereolithography, additive manufacturing and often hand finishes that requires the work of expert operators with an outstanding level of skill.
